Kali is such a talented, responsible and sweet girl! She did a fantastic job during her senior session which lasted nearly three hours. It was worth the work, her photos turned out amazing. We used scenes from downtown Eugene, Oregon and close by nature walks, plus a mini session at Central Linn High School to tell her full story. Her style, her smile and her life right now (cheer) are in full display. Thank you Kali!

Baby Lena | Brownsville Oregon Photographer | Children & Babies

Hey there! It's been a bit too long since my last update, I seem to be barely keeping up with my editing! Why not get back on the wagon with these cute sneak peeks. Back to school sessions were so fun, it reminded me of how much I love working with children. Kids = joy.

Back to School Mini Sessions | Eugene Kids Photographers

Coming up this weekend are the back to school super mini photo sessions. I only have a handful of spots left for Saturday, so if you don't want to miss out on this fun opportunity be sure to let me know...asap! I've been loving doing these little sessions. They are just long enough to get some very fun pictures yet short enough that kids don't get tired! They're in and out. Kids like that (and moms are liking it too!).

School is finally back, and so are back to school portraits. I love taking these quick glimpses of kids as they start a new year! I met up with my niece and nephew, Alexis and Caleb in Troutdale, OR for their photos and we found this gorgeous spot with perfect sunlight to work with. Mom (my sister) did a great job as assistant positioning the reflector and moving around props. Thanks Sis!

Willamette High School deadline | Eugene Senior Portrait Photographer

Just found out that the deadline for Willamette High School's senior yearbook photos is October 17. EEK! That is only 6.5 weeks away! If you are a senior, a parent, sibling or friend act now and contact me to book your photo session.

Senior portraits have come a long way from where they were back in 19.... well, when I graduated. Long gone are the days of standing in line in the school gym and waiting for you one snapshot chance at looking your best (which let's face it, even at the glorious age of 17, it's hard to pull off). Or going to the studio and picking one of four backgrounds that every friend in your school used and being made to look dreamily at the corner of the room for a "magic" photo. If you are thinking that at some point I'm going to volunteer my senior picture as an example, you are sorely mistaken.

You could actually get that big canvas photo of your family for the fireplace you've been wanting for years!

The Details Spelled Out

You have to: Book a session between July 20th and 31st and send in your session fee to hold your date and participate in this offer.

You get: A free set of 25 press printed unique Christmas cards, a $60 value (these are super nice on card paper, not like Costco, and that's not a criticism of Costco, I love Costco!) ~or~ you can use the $75 of credit towards prints and other goodies. You can also get a $75 print credit for each friend referred by you that books and pays for a session. These referral credits can really add up! Really, this is an awesome deal. You have until October 1st to continue to send referrals.

$100 print minimum still applies, so if you are not able to (or don't want to) refer any friends, then you would have to spend $25 out of pocket to meet that minimum.

You don't have to: set them time and date of your photo session right now. Summer is super busy so why not do it in September or October when things are running a little more smoothly? You can schedule your photos any time before October 31st, 2012.

My goal is to always make your photos as convenient and easy peasy as possible. Really, I have seen it all! I don't stress over kids misbehaving, a little baby spit up, or teenagers with attitudes. I typically work nights and weekends because I know that's when families are available. I also try to work around baby nap schedules and am flexible with locations for the same reason.

Recent Favorites | Eugene Family Photographer

I thought I would post a few of my favorite shots from the recent months. There is only so much I can preview from a session and sometimes very good photos get lost in the bunch. On this post they can stand out on their own. I'll be honest, I love seeing my work on my website. Call it vanity?? Perhaps. But then, I also love to sit there and look at my freshly cleaned bathroom for a while too, LOL. We all enjoy the fruits of our labors.
